The Perfect Profile
There is much emphasis placed on how important a first impression is, and rightly so. In any situation, from job interviews to of course meeting somebody new, it is your chance to present yourself at your best.
With Single50s.co.uk there is far less hassle when it comes to ‘meeting' that new person and far less worries than if you were meeting face to face (although of course that is the end goal). However, there is one thing that doesn't seem to get as much emphasis placed on it as it should, and that is having a good profile.
Having a profile written is so important as it is your way of presenting yourself for the first time. It is the first impression you give to someone new who has decided to look at your profile. Of course having a photo is the best way to go about it, as that is the first thing people will see on the search page. In all honesty, would you be more likely to click on someone who has a photo, or someone who hasn't?

Do - Give out as much information as you can about you as a person and your interests. |

Don't - Give out personal information like your phone number or e-mail address before getting to know someone enough to trust them. |

Do - Talk about things that you have enjoyed in the past. |

Don't - Talk about past relationships, or bad experiences. Remember online dating is about your future. |

Do - Be yourself and be honest, people want to find a real person they can relate to. |

Don't - Lie. THE fundamental rule! When you arrange to meet someone, how will you explain that you aren't actually an astronaut?? Starting off with a lie puts you in a bad light instantly and will ruin the date. |
